Paul Huizinga


Paul Huizinga joined Squarefield in November 2014 after gaining investment banking and transaction advisory experience at Imtech, Rabobank, RBS, ABN AMRO and Loyens Loeff.

While at Squarefield, Paul has assisted on several M&A transactions in the food industry e.g. Lamb Weston/Meijer acquiring Oerlemans’ potato division, H2 acquiring Klaas Puul, and the sale of Van Hessen. In addition, he covers the international private equity landscape.

Prior to that, he advised on various non-food transactions, for example the sale of Imtech ICT, the sale of Basic-Fit, and Reesink’s acquisition of Pon Material Handling, as well as several public offers.

Paul holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the London Business School, and an LLM degree in both tax and civil law from the University of Amsterdam.
